Cast Iron Flora Groupe
One of a cast iron set, circa 1875, of Flora from the original by Antoine Coysevox.
Flora is the goddess of blossoming flowers of spring.
Much of Antoine Coysevox's early work consisted of statuary for the Palace of Versailles.
Through the 1670's & 80's he continued to provide decorative elements and ornamental busts for the interior of the palace.
