Reproduction English Lead Ram's Head & Festoon Mask
"Ref: GF4-101 H. Crowther Ltd., London (1908-present). Henry Crowther sourced many of his castings for his lead foundry from his father's fine garden ornament business founded in the 1880s. These moulds continue to be used today.
A faithful rendition of an 18th century Coade stone original. Coade stone was a ceramic material sold as a faux stone material from 1769-1833 after which it was replaced by a cheaper cement substitute.. Depicting a ram's head with ribbons and fruit. Can be converted to a fountainhead upon request.
